Birds of Prey, the minuscule space between silence and speech is an enormous gulf, and a fitting source for sonic exploration. Their third LP Vanishing Point delves deep into these interstices between form and formlessness, a rare feat for a band set up outside of solo production-based projects. The LP’s equal parts Burial-esque dystopian UK bass (minus any easy-to-catch beats) and weighty post-rock explorations.
